Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

On behalf of your Las Vegas Urban League-WIC family, it is a privilege to serve our thousands of families throughout Southern Nevada. Our priority is your health and safety while delivering five-star customer service. Our Nutrition Education Centers are in daily contact with the Nevada State Health Division as we deploy increased precautionary sanitation measures that comply with Southern Nevada Health District, Nevada Department of Health and Human Services and CDC guidelines in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

We will remain open for business and provide exceptional Nutrition Counseling to our families in a safe and healthy manner. As a precaution, we will screen every patient entering our office.

When you check in to our office, we will ask you the following questions:
1) Do you have a fever?
2) Do you have a cough, cold/ flu-like symptoms?
3) Have you traveled Internationally, specifically to China, Iran, or European countries in the last 14 days?

If you respond “yes” to any of these questions, we will kindly ask you to call into our office and receive a Nutritional Consultation over the phone to ensure your needs are met. We appreciate your cooperation in this important matter.

As many of you are working from home or will have students around the house during this period, you will likely experience more stress than usual.


Remember to prepare, not panic. Proper nutrition and sleep will be important to your overall health. Our nutrition counselors are here to help you and your family determine the best ways to maintain a healthy diet.
