Message from Our Breastfeeding Team

Our breastfeeding team proudly serves our families with respect, dignity and support. Our goal is to provide you and your family the support necessary to make informed decisions and want to provide continued encouragement as you are on your breastfeeding journey.

Your decision is respected. As mothers ourselves we understand what a new and continual breastfeeding journey looks like. We have experienced the emotional roller coaster associated with Breastfeeding.

For instance, you may find yourself questioning your ability to breastfeed, you may question your own decisions to breastfeed, or even have others question. Yes, all that can be quite challenging and exhausting at times.

Soon, it all becomes confusing and just too much to process. This is where we are at our best, we are here to help you sort it all out. We are here for you!

We have found that we sometimes need that extra support, and our team is here to serve you and equip you with the education, tools and support you may need along the way.

Whether you are partially or exclusively breastfeeding, we are here for you.

Your partners are welcome to attend and be a part of this journey too, in fact we encourage it! As new moms, you may come to find that this breastfeeding journey can be physically, emotionally and spiritually demanding. Your partners can play a positive and supportive role during this process. Encourage your partner to attend our nutrition education classes with you. They can adapt and learn ways to help and support you to lift you up and help you feel great while providing the best nutrition for your newest family member. Remember, your partner is learning too!
They may also have questions that can be useful, so we strongly encourage their participation any WIC of your appointments.
