The Coalition supports members of the community who wish to nurse their babies, and we strive to be a reputable resource for all nursing families in our community (including but not limited to): the Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay and Transgender (LGBT), African American, Low income and everyone else in between. As a 501c3 Non Profit, we are dedicated to provide trusted resources in the community for all questions breastfeeding from the topic of Breastfeeding and Marijuana/alcohol and Tobacco use, benefits of skin to skin and so much more!

The Health District continues to offer clinical services at its Sexual Health Clinic, and primary care services, including tele-health services, are available through the Southern Nevada Community Health Center located at 280 S. We’re committed to improving the quality of health care and services for our members.
The goals of our ongoing quality program are to:
• Measure, monitor, and analyze the outcomes of health care and services received by health plan members.
• Plan and carry out focused quality initiatives for health plan members and providers.
Each year, we develop a quality improvement work plan, which is monitored by the health plan’s Quality Improvement Committee. The annual evaluation of the Quality Program is also reviewed and approved by the health plan’s Board of Directors.

Sheltering women, children, & their pets.
The Shade Tree Organization provides safe shelter to homeless and abused women & children in crisis. Offering life-changing services promoting stability, dignity, and self-reliance.

Established in 1977, SafeNest is Nevada’s largest, most comprehensive nonprofit dedicated to ending domestic violence by focusing on five core confidential, trauma-informed services: emergency shelter, 24/7 crisis hotline, counseling, advocacy and prevention education.
SafeNest maintains the only confidential domestic violence shelter in Las Vegas; operates a 24-hour crisis hotline (which is sole access point of emergency protection orders in Clark County) and a text-to-chat line; provides individual and group counseling; maintains victim advocates in the justice and law enforcement systems; and provides domestic violence education, prevention, and training programs within the Clark County community.
Across all programs, SafeNest provides direct services to more than 20,000 clients annually, serving Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, Mesquite, and surrounding rural areas.

Women’s Resource Medical Centers of Southern Nevada is a faith-based, nonprofit 501(c)3 charitable organization committed to supporting families with pregnancies. We provide complete, accurate information, free high-sensitivity pregnancy tests with immediate results, certified crisis counseling, and state-of-the-art ultrasound services to women and couples who are making decisions about unintended pregnancies.

community.” We combine food banking (warehousing canned and boxed goods), food rescue
(obtaining surplus or unused meats, bread, dairy and produce from hospitality and grocery
outlets) and ready-to-eat meals to be the most complete food solution for Southern Nevada.

CCSD Child Find is an evaluative process to address the federal mandate to locate and evaluate children, ages 3-21, who may have a disability and are eligible for services as identified in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
• Assesses children for special education eligibility.
• Develops Individualized Educational Programs for eligible children.
• Engages in community outreach to identify children who may need services.
• Provides connections for families to community resources.
• Collaborates with Nevada Early Intervention Services (NEIS) to ensure no drop in services.

Without appropriate treatment and engagements in sober meaningful activities, addiction is progressive and can result in significant consequences and even death.

The Office of Minority Health is dedicated to improving the health of racial and ethnic minority populations through the development of health policies and programs that will help eliminate health disparities.

WomenShelters.org is all about providing easy to find shelter listings for women in need. We want to make it simple and easy to use for women who need help quick.
We provide listings of emergency shelters, transitional housing, family shelters, residential treatment centers, and other residential services for women.

Family Promise of Las Vegas assists children and their families end the cycle of homelessness and return to sustainable employment and housing. We believe that every child deserves to have a home and we utilize key partnerships to achieve this goal. We are not a religious organization however, we partner with local congregations of all faiths who help provide transitional shelter.
We also work with local social service agencies to coordinate services and landlords to secure long term housing options.

The Nevada Child Seekers mission is to advocate for and engage in prevention, identification and location efforts on behalf of missing and exploited children.

The Clark County Department of Family Services (DFS) is the local child welfare agency that works to protect children from abuse and neglect. We do this by partnering with our community to build safe, nurturing and stable families, support family preservation when possible, and provide permanent families for those children who cannot safely return home and to ensure the well-being of children in our care.

The Nevada Homeless Alliance pursues collaborative strategies to end homelessness in Southern Nevada through advocacy, public awareness, education, and coordination of services.
This requires a multidimensional approach among government agencies, community organizations, the private sector, and homeless people themselves. The Nevada Homeless Alliance works to create and strengthen these relationships to facilitate an effective and comprehensive systems response to homelessness.
